Do you love adventure and entrepreneurship? So do I! In fact, I have an amazing retreat coming up in Bali! Find out more here.
ave you even been really surprised to find out that some ‘trivial’ piece of information you know ended up being really important to someone else? I find this every day when people ask me about presenting or podcasting or how to start a business. The moral is…people want to learn what you know!
Today’s guest on the Art of Adventure podcast is a great facilitator of helping teachers and creators sell what they know.
Steven Essa is one of the world’s leading trainers on how make great webinars that help you sell your knowledge, in the form of an online course, training, coaching, product, etc.
He has a great story in this episode about how at his live two day events, he will spend one day teaching about webinars, pick someone from the audience, set up a webinar for them, and the next day run the webinar live and create $2,000 – $23,000 in sales. Clearly this is a powerful tool.
I couldn’t believe the amount of improvisation Steven did around the “test case” webinar we were referring to in the episode, which is an actual webinar that I want to give next week for scientists and grad students about presenting skills. He is so pro, he even came up with the patented “cheeky grin technique” for being more charismatic when you are presenting. It was like witnessing Don Draper in action.
If you are someone who already has a course, training, or coaching, or you want to get into teaching others what you know, this episode will blow your socks off with how powerful and easy it is to run a webinar and get people what they need.

Did you enjoy the episode?
Steven did an amazing job rolling with our example of creating a course for scientists about how to present better. He makes webinars sound so easy to do – what do you already know that you could generate income from selling?
