“Am I helping other people?” -Les Leventhal, on what he asks himself every day.
In this episode of the Art of Adventure, My guest is a hero and teacher of mine, Les Leventhal. He is one of the wisest men I know and I learn something about myself every time I take one of his yoga classes. Les was not always a yoga teacher though; in his book, Two Lifestyles, One Lifetime, he talk about his first lifetime as a crystal meth addicted porn star, running away, struggling to find meaningful relationships, and his road to recovery. In this episode we go beyond the book and talk about how he lives his life by the living principles of yoga – the Yamas and Niyamas. Les takes us through some times when he didn’t think he would make it through, hitting rock bottom, and why he chose to share his story. I hope you get as much out of this interview as I did!
