“Be intentional in your business relationships” – John Corcoran
Traveling the world, you meet a lot of people, many of them will become acquaintances or friends, and some will become valuable business contacts. But how will you know when you are going to meet someone that meet someone that will be beneficial to your career or business?
Many of us move through life and build relationships with the people that we encounter as part of our normal ecosystem. Today’s guest argues that to be effective in business, you have to pursue intentional relationships with people that will help you along the way.
John Corcoran a former Clinton White House Writer and Speechwriter to the Governor of California and owns his own boutique law firm in the San Francisco Bay Area catering to small business owners and entrepreneurs.
He also runs the Smart Business Revolution and the Smart Business Revolution Podcast, and is one of the worlds best relationship builders (otherwise known as networker, but nobody likes that term).
Today we are going to learn how to build those relationships over time by giving first, establishing trust, and having a plan for reaching out.
