In honor of the 4th of July, here is a list of the freedom in my life right now that I am grateful for:
-Being in good physical condition and able to play any sport I want whenever I want (except morning workouts are exceptionally hard)
-Being free of debts, which allow me to live a frugal lifestyle when I need to get by on little money.
-Freedom to wear any clothes I want – this has been a life long struggle for me to be OK with breaking from conformity (I only wore blue jeans for the first time at age 13). And thank god I don’t have to wear those itchy wool pants those original 1776 revolutionaries had to wear.
-Free to think my own thoughts
-Being able to speak my mind – not being afraid that I will be perceived as dumb if I ask an “obvious†question.
-Freedom to have conviction about something.
-Living in a country that most of the world likes and will accept into their countries.
-Freedom to hop on a plane at any time and get to those countries.
-Freedom to get any information I want at any time (thanks encyclopedia Britannica!).
-Having a job that I can work as much or little as I want on (as long as the species get discovered and the papers get written!).
-Freedom to dream big and put anything I can think of on my bucket list
-Freedom to buy pretty much any food any time (cuz sometimes you just need blueberries in January!)
-Freedom to choose who I spend my time with (and who to marry!)
Basically freedom is awesome. I plan to fight for freedom my whole life and for the whole world. Happy 4th of July!
