“I’m always on the lookout for interesting books” – Jeff Brown
I met today’s guest on the Art of Adventure at the Podcast Movement conference a couple weeks ago where he was one of the speakers – about how to not suck at interviewing.
Chris Brogan calls Jeff one of the “best interviewers I’ve ever known.” It always a little intimidating to interview a guy who is one of the best out there and teaches others how to be better.
I was excited to meet Jeff not only because of his exemplary interviewing skills, but also because his podcast is about reading!
Jeff Brown is the host of the Read to Lead podcast, and is a 26 year broadcast veteran, including hosting an award-winning and nationally-syndicated morning show.
Today we are going to cover reading and how to apply your reading habit to enhancing your business, and we will also get into Jeff’s other realm of expertise: Interviewing like a pro.
As many of you know, reading is a big part of my daily routine, and one of my 2015 goals is to read 100 books (If you love reading to, you can sign up here for my monthly reading recommendation email list!). The may successful leaders are outspoken about their reading habits: Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Derek Sivers, Tai Lopez, Tim Ferriss, Ryan Holiday to name a few.
This episode is for you if you are an entrepreneur or want to get ahead in your career by reading the right books, or you are interested in learning to be a pro level interviewer!
