“Eighty percent of my preconceived notions about a place are wrong” – Colin Wright
Colin Wright will move to a new country if that’s what the people want. Readers of his popular blog, Exile Lifestyle, vote on where in the world he will move next.
So far Colin has lived in Iceland, India, Romania, and the Czech Republic to name a few. He spends four months in each location to allow time to really get to know a place. Find out which countries were surprisingly comfortable and which ones were a daily adventure!
Colin and I both grew up in Missouri, and I have been following Colin’s travels and writing for years. He was an inspiration for my own brand of slow travel, and I’m excited to finally have him on the podcast!
Colin is also a speaker, author and founder of Asymmetrical Press, an Indie publishing company. He has 32+ books currently in print, in addition to writing his blog and newsletter.
Listen to the episode if you want to learn Colin’s process for moving to and integrating with life in a new country. Also listen to the episode if you are a blogger, writer, or author and you want to take advantage of Colin’s insight into the publishing world.
