“You have to fulfill demand, not create demand” – Stephen Somers on finding the right product

Today I have for the first time on the Art of Adventure, not one, but two amazing guests: Stephen Somers and Robert Rickey join us from Belfast, Northern Ireland. These two lads are the creators of the Marketplace Superheroes course, which is a road map to help you do what they have done, which is sell millions of dollars in physical products on Amazon.com. We talk about the coincidences and opportunities that brought them together as business partners, their early business experience that set them up for success selling online, and some specifics about how you can make tens of thousands of dollars a month selling physical products on Amazon.com. Plus I’m sure you will enjoy their charming accents!

What a great listen! I totally agree with what Stephen said, this will not happen in 30 days. After starting research in August 2014 (or rather restarting research) it wasn’t until December 2014 until my product got on Amazon. It takes time…time to research, time to wait for other parties that you can’t control (your supplier, shipping to you, shipping to Amazon, etc) and then once you get launched there’s the process of working to get sales. It’s a process and if you’re not up for the process then this biz isn’t for those considering. However they’d be missing out on an array of opportunity.
