What if you had the ability to make big things magically happen? What if you could make people’s (including your own) wildest dreams come true?

My guest today on the Art of Adventure has a secret process for learning how to ask from something and get a YES, when you would normally expect to get a NO – AKA the Unreasonable Request.

Stehpanie Burns is the founder and CEO of Chic CEO. She has been a speaker at SXSW, TEDx, SD Entrepreneur Summit, Female Entrepreneur: The Gender Advantage… and more. Some of her big unreasonable requests wins are free or heavily discounted venue space for her favorite charity and an all expenses paid Ruby on Rails coding course and vacation in Bali.

Stephanie has coached me in making unreasonable requests as well:

Some of the things that I have gotten in the last few months as a result of using the unreasonable requests process are: a free scenic train tour of New Zealand, free concert tickets, a party thrown for my birthday for my favorite local charity, a week-long luxury retreat, and free mentorship, to name a few.

I think you will find this a fascinating look at our own beliefs, and how we can harness the power of continual challenge.

This is the episode for you if you have wild dreams and want to turn them into reality, or if there is anything you really want that could help your life or business, but you aren’t sure how you can make it happen.
