“Use hunger as a reminder of your goal” – Sir John Hargrave

I’m really excited about todays interview because by great coincidence, both my guest and I are in the middle of a fast. At the time of recording both of us were consuming only water. He was 14 days in to his 21 day no food experiment and the most common response from people was “please don’t die”.

He is also one of the greatest american pranksters, going so far as to prank Michael Jackson, The Super Bowl, Ashton Kutcher, and President Obama. He was the man behind one of the oldest comedy sites on the internet, Zug.com (since closed down).

Sir John Hargrave even went so far as to legally add “Sir” to his name because the queen of England makes it so difficult to be knighted.

He was my guest back in episode 84 talking about his book Mind Hacking, which was recently released.

Today we will learn what it like to be 14 days into a water fast and how Ghandi inspired John to understake this challenge in the first place.

John will share the mind hacking techniques that he uses to get through this and other challenges like running a marathon. You will learn about how to recharge your willpower battery and how to observe your mind when you are low on willpower. We talk about fasting for spiritual purposes and the experience of being in a state of Ketosis where you body is burning fat stores for fuel.
