“Focus on the work, the results will come” – Omar Zenhom

Heyo! Today’s guest is the founder of the $100 MBA, an alternative business education and community online. He’s also the host of the iTunes Best of 2014 podcast, The $100 MBA Show. “Heyo!” is Omar’s catch phrase and I love it!

I met Omar Zenhom this year at Podcast Movement when he blew me away with his talk and mad Michael Jackson dance moves.

After a failed initial attempt at podcasting, he returned to his area of expertise: teaching. He and his fiance and business partner Nicole spent months planning before the launch of $100 MBA, which provides and alternative to Business school that is accessible to everyone.

He spent the first seven years of his entrepreneurial journey working solo, on side projects while he was teaching. In this episode we get into how and why his partnership with Nicole works so well, and how you can partner with and build a team with the right people.

Because Omar has build such a strong community of entrepreneurs, I asked him about some of the insights and patterns he sees for new entrepreneurs. You will learn the most common problems new entrepreneurs face and how to get around them, and stay tuned to the end of the episode for a special insight from Omar about an underserved business niche!
