“You see people as entire human beings on a live video broadcast”- Bonnie Frank

Today we are joined by Bonnie Frank, who runs The Women in Biz, and also happens to be my 5th grade teacher! Twenty years later, she says I still walk and act the same.

I caught up with her in St. Louis, where she convinced me to get started broadcasting on Periscope before I went to the Podcast Movement conference, where everyone was using Periscope (and Meerkat). Today’s episode will teach you everything you need to know about Periscope.

Bonnie is using her experience as a teacher to break down Periscope broadcasting, social media, and business skills into step-by-step, bite sized actionable bits for entrepreneurs.

Because Periscope (and it’s twin Meerkat) was launched only in the last few months, now is your chance to jump on the trend and be an early adopter!

I brought Bonnie on the Art of Adventure to take us through everything she has learned about Periscope broadcasting and teach us what we need to know to use Periscope to tell our story, market our businesses, and make more connections (and money)!

Oh my goodness. Bonnie Frank was your fifth grade teacher?! That is a very important year. I still remember mine, his name was Mr. Chodosh, the first person who “made us” write in our journals every morning while listening to classical music. He made a big impact on my life by causing me to focus on my inner thoughts regularly.

I have watched Bonnie’s scopes a few times and she is an awesome teacher. You can feel how genuine and real she is as well as knowledgeable. I am still hooked on Periscope after finding it myself back in August of 2015. I think I have only gone a few days without “checking in”, to watch that is, I am still working on becoming a regular scoper myself.
